Whun Chung

Myung-Whun Chung is another great protagonist of our operatic and symphonic programmes, as well as of the Filarmonica (to which we normally associate him). One of the greatest directors of the last decades, beyond being renowned for the poetic and dramatic splendour of his productions, Whun Chung is also known for his self-effacing character. Here are two of his “dedications” written on two photographs, which can be admired in the Amici della Scala offices.
