Luciana Savignano

The occasions on which Amici della Scala had the opportunity to enjoy the presence and intelligence of Luciana Savignano are so many! Honorary Member, Savignano was the absolute protagonist of late 20th century dance, and of contemporary dance in particular. It is not a coincidence that hers was the task of commemorating, during one of our events in November, the great Maurice Béjart, a few days after his death. In the photographs, she is pictured with eminent friends: amongst them is choreographer Alvin Ailey.
