James Vaughan

James Vaughan plays a very important role within La Scala Theatre: he is the “Primo Maestro di sala”. He trains singers, works with orchestra conductors and puts together the cast ahead of rehearsals. He coordinates the “maestri sostituti”. On many occasions, he also executed the basso continuo during the performances. But he is also a friend of our Association: many of the public events in the Opera House foyer ended with a musical contribution by Vaughan (in the picture he is with Pretty Yende).
