Abbado and the youth

Claudio Abbado’s consideration and awareness towards young people was proverbial. In this letter, he encourages Amici della Scala to support a talented young man. The letter was dictated to the assistant; yet Abbado cares to add a kind note in his own writing to explain the reason for the English text!
