Alberto Cavallari

Although interviewing a Pope may not be too unlikely nowadays, at the time of Paolo VI this was far from being taken for granted. However, the great “Corriere della Sera” and “Repubblica” journalist and accredited pundit Alberto Cavallari managed to do it, following his investigative report on the Second Vatican Council. In the letter reproduced here is a friendly greeting to Anna Crespi and an invitation to Paris, where Cavallari taught for many years.
