Aldo Grasso
The “focus” on the world of Opera and Art has never limited itself to academic and traditional perspectives, spanning to in-depth analyses and research that enjoy the support of great experts. A young Aldo Grasso, a very well known critic and television expert, curated with Giovanni Buttafava the interesting research La camera lirica. Storia e tendenze della diffusione dell’opera lirica attraverso la televisione. It is a subject that is still highly topical, and was also the main theme of the second issue of “I Quaderni degli Amici della Scala” number 2 (the series was made possible thanks to the contribution of Philips Morris). Amici della Scala, on the occasion of Verdi’s Don Carlo, also organised, in January 1993, the conference entitled “Cultura Italia-Germania Oggi” (“Culture Italy-Germany Today”), in which Aldo Grasso also took part.
