On the 2nd of October 1990, the quaderni number 9 and number 10 of the Amici della Scala series “Musica e Teatro” were presented at the Conservatory. The quaderno number 9, by Laura Pistolesi, is entitled “Del recitar cantando. Per uno studio comparativo dell’Euridice di Jacopo Peri e dell’Euridice di Giulio Caccini”, (“Del recitar cantando. A comparative study of Euridice by Jacopo Peri and Euridice by Giulio Caccini”) with a preface written by professors Clement and Terni. The quaderno number 10, by Anna Buia, is entitled “Un così eroico amore. Genesi e diffusione censurata del libretto de La Traviata di F.M. Piave” (“Un così eroico amore. Genesys and diffusion of La Traviata’s libretto by F.M. Piave”) with a preface by professor Mario Lavagetto. Following the presentation was a concert by the much loved and amiable Bruno Canino; a musician who, as the signed message demonstrates, has always had the youth’s interests at heart.
