Carlo Majer

17th of December 2013: Amici della Scala hosted the launch of the book Verdi Architetto, with photographs by Francesco Maria Colombo and contributing essays by Carlo Majer and Alessandro Turba. Published by Umberto Allemandi & Co., the book (along with its related exhibition) evokes the atmospheres transmitted by the spaces imagined and created by Verdi throughout his life. The launch was also an opportunity to meet Carlo Majer again, artistic director of I Pomeriggi Musicali (“The Musical Afternoons”) and of Turin’s Teatro Regio. Majer, a passionate scholar, original and versatile, was also a protagonist of the Prima delle prime evening dedicated to the rerun of Mozart’s Don Giovanni during the 2016-2017 operatic season.
