Claudio Abbado

Always a friend of Amici della Scala, Claudio Abbado was the protagonist, in 2001, of a memorable tour with the Berliner Philharmoniker, in which he conducted the complete Beethoven symphonies that also brought him to Rome. The affectionate letter that we here reproduce bears witness to the closeness of our relationship with the great director and the joy that we had for his triumphs.
