Claudio Scimone

A very well known expert of Vivaldi and the Veneto Baroque, re-discoverer of a great repertoire, and also noted for his willingness to communicate with the public, Claudio Scimone soon became one of the most popular and loved musicians of his generation. In 2000, he presented, at Amici della Scala, the CD Stabat Mater (published by Warner Fonit), with music by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Luigi Boccherini, and performed by Solisti Veneti. This is yet another proof of the breadth of the Association’s activities, which is not only related to Milan. This wonderful dedication is from Claudio.
