Coltellacci

Wednesday, 29 November 2017, Vittoria Crespi Morbio’s book, Giulio Coltellacci. Theatre Cinema Painting was presented in the La Scala “Arturo Toscanini” Foyer. In the more than fourty years of his career, Giulio Coltellacci (1916-1983) left a mark in all the fields of theatre: from the Italian revue to the shows of Wanda Osiris, to Rugantino, Coltellacci worked for the great Italian opera theatres. He was a complex, manifold artist, whose work was always remarkable in its originality. In this letter, we can read the expressions of thanks of Coltellacci’s relatives, who could not take part in the wonderful evening of the book presentation. During the evening, pianist Mzia Bachtouridze performed pieces by Wagner, Liszt and Giya Kancheli (video).
