Dario Del Corno

A great scholar of Theatre, and amongst the highest experts of ancient Greek culture and civilization, Dario Del Corno was the author of librettos, a translator and a literary adapter. He was always close to Amici della Scala, as demonstrated by these two signed letters sent to Anna Crespi. In the first, Del Corno speaks about Gluck’s Alceste at La Scala, and the successful outcome of a roundtable discussion. In the second, much more informal letter, he sends his warm wishes for the festive period. In 1991, the professor reaffirms: “You know that you can always count on me”.
