Exhibition installation

These videos, realised by Luca Vitali, show some phases of the costume restoration process  and the preparation of the exhibition Incantesimi: Teatro alla Scala costumes from the thirties to today, curated by Vittoria Crespi Morbio and held at Milan’s Palazzo Reale from the 10th of October 2017 to the 4th of February 2018. In particular, the videos were shot in the workshops of Ditta Brancati, whose contribution was fundamental to the restoration work, and in the pavilions of the La Scala workshops at the Ansaldo site. It is here that Francesco Maria Colombo took the photographs that illustrate the exhibition catalogue.
