For La Scala!

On the 10th of November 2004, in the rooms of Palazzo Reale, a great event was held to celebrate the return of La Scala to its historic premises after the extensive restoration works. Upon the invitation of Amici della Scala, 250 institutions from the world of art and culture took part in the celebration, dedicating, in their respective cities, a series of concerts, exhibitions, recitals, renovations and other wonderful symbolic gifts to the event. The celebration revealed a web of affinity, a firmament of esteem and friendship for La Scala, for Milan, and for Amici della Scala. The Association also presented four new monographs dedicated to the performing artists at La Scala: Mario Ceroli, Leonor Fini, Titina Rota and Georges Wakhévitch, curated by Vittoria Crespi Morbio, published by Umberto Allemandi & Co.
