Giangiorgio Satragni

Although much time has passed, we can include Giangiorgio Satragni amongst the new scholars of the latest generation. In 2004, Satragni was, not without reason, the recipient of the scholarship donated by Associazione De Sono of Turin. Soon after, Amici della Scala invited him as a lecturer for his extraordinary knowledge of German 20th century music and in particular of Richard Strauss, as made evident by these introductory words from his conference on Die Frau ohne Schatten, held on the 29th of February 2012.
