Giovanni Carli Ballola

Giovanni Carli Ballola frequently took part as a speaker in the presentations of La Scala operas organised by Amici della Scala. In this case is a 1985 letter of thanks to the great scholar, referring to his contribution to the Filarmonica theatre programme. In fact, during its first years, the new Orchestra drew on the Association’s support in order to realise several very beneficial publications. In the audio, taken from Ballola’s participation in the opera’s presentation conference, we hear a splendid insight into the genius of Mozart through Idomeneo.
