Giulio Nascimbeni

Giulio Nascimbeni – who in these two pictures is shown in the company of Roberto Calasso and historian of religion Pier Angelo Carozzi (also a lifelong friend of Amici della Scala) – is an important part of Corriere della Sera’s history. Director of the third page, in a period in which this term was synonymous with “cultural page”, through his writings and work Nascimbeni has been a commentator for a great and long period of Italian culture.
