Great painters at La Scala

The restoration of the La Scala’s sketches, a wish of the Association since the beginning of its activities, and the editorial series of monographs and publications dedicated to the artists that have created set models and costumes, represent an invaluable heritage. A fact that is reiterated by these monographs in particular, which make clear, once again, how all the great figures of the 20th century gave their contribution to the set design of the operas: Guttuso, Carrà, Sironi, Oppo, Picasso and Fiume.
