Leonard Bernstein represented for La Scala the opportunity to collaborate with a musical legend. Candide is the last tribute of the Opera House to the unforgettable Lenny: Ernesto Schiavi – artistic director of the Filarmonica and a member of the La Scala orchestra – recounted his memories of Bernstein during the Mediolanum Channel special dedicated to the opera. “Lenny” is amongst the Amici della Scala Honorary Members.
