Leone Magiera

On the 18th of March 2014, in collaboration with Modena’s Adac (“Associazione Diffusione Arte Cultura”), the event “Dialoghi in musica” (“Dialogues in music”) was held in the Amici della Scala offices with guests Philippe Daverio and Leone Magiera. Maestro Magiera, who was defined by Herbert von Karajan as the greatest trainer of opera singers, delighted the many members present with his performance. The attendees were struck by the extraordinary passion of the two protagonists of the evening: Daverio, for the use of words as an instrument with which to share and spread knowledge; Magiera for his musical finesse on the piano, gestures which, after so many years, still visibly move him and render him speechless.
