Massimo Bogianckino

A protagonist of great Italian operatic seasons at La Scala and, most of all, at Florence’s Teatro Comunale, Massimo Bogianckino enjoyed a prestige that also brought him to the Paris Opera. In this 1984 letter, he expresses his displeasure about a rejection of funding for an Amici della Scala project. He nonetheless reaffirms his friendship and appreciation. In the picture, we see him in our offices with Carlo Maria Badini, on the occasion of a meeting with the Friends of Paris Opera.
