Michele Campanella
As the subtitle states, Quisquilie e pinzillacchere (“trifles and bagatelles”) is the “story of a Neapolitan musician recounted to a friend”. Published by Castelvecchi Editore and written by Michele Campanella, one of the most brilliant musicians (and pianists) of our country, was presented at the Association on the 22nd of March 2018. During the evening, the great pianist – in particular renowned for his extraordinary interpretations of Franz Liszt, a composer to which Campanella dedicated the book Il mio Liszt (“My Liszt”) – conversed with Riccardo Risaliti and Quirino Principe, and also performed pieces on the piano.
