Mstislav Rostropovich

The friendship with the great Mstislav Rostropovich started in 1987 in our headquarters, with a dinner held in his honour after the concert conducted by Walter Weller at La Scala. It was an initiative organised “for La Scala”, and from which a mutual affinity flourished and has never diminished over the years. Rostropovich (along with his wife) was both a great personal friend of Anna Crespi, and a great friend of Amici della Scala. His expression of thanks in the guestbook is reciprocated!
