Riccardo Chailly

Riccardo Chailly participated twice in Prima delle prime. Not yet director of the Opera House, Chailly revealed to the viewers of the Mediolanum Channel special his insights into the score of Aida, with his signature sharpness of analysis and interpretation. We also see him in the other video, filmed in 2016, when, as a musical director, he participated again in Prima delle prime. Here, Chailly took part in a dialogue, held in the foyer, with Virgilio Bernardoni, around Puccini’s La Fanciulla del West (“The Girl of the West)”; a dialogue much appreciated by the audience. In the picture is his dedication to Amici della Scala’s cultural salon.
