Roberto Hazon

Man of great culture and sensitivity, Roberto Hazon (Honorary Member) was a composer amongst the most staged and performed of the late 20th century, especially his operas and ballets. Very appreciated by Gianandrea Gavazzeni, Hazon was a protagonist of music concerned with aesthetics that were distant from the avant-garde’s. As a gift, here is an extract from his famous ballet A happy hippy: defined, by Hazon himself, as “merry, and dedicated to a pleasant and dynamic friend”.
