Rosa Feola and Michele Pertusi

Following the latest staging of The Thieving Magpie, the opera by Gioachino Rossini that returned to La Scala after triumphantly debuting there in May 1817, two protagonists of the work were at the centre of a very pleasant symposium held in the Amici della Scala offices: young yet valued Rosa Feola (Ninetta) and the ever appreciated Michele Pertusi (the Podestà). The event, which was held in a spirit of friendship and cordiality, was chaired by Enrico Girardi. Many questions, numerous “behind the scenes” and the wonderful pleasure of discussing music before and after listening to it.
