Sandro Laffranchini

Amici della Scala was involved in an unusual, tridimensional sonic experience. On the 16th of March 2016, Sandro Laffranchini – highly respected cellist and first cello of La Scala and the Filarmonica alla Scala – commenced the evening by first playing Vertigine, one of his compositions, before moving to Bach and Samuel Barber. Soon after, the performance, which had been recorded through special audio devices, was re-played in other rooms as if it were being performed live. Guests walked from one room to another,  to enjoy this experience as they pleased.
