The Duke of Alba

The Plenipotentiary Minister of Spain, Alberto A. Alvarez, thanks Anna Crespi for an evening in 1983 in which the Spanish Ambassador was welcomed at Amici della Scala along with the Duke of Alba. They are personalities that may remind one of those of a Verdi opera, yet demonstrate the international nature of Amici della Scala’s activity, as well as how important our representation of La Scala and our public relations role has been for Milan and the Opera House.
