The La Scala Chorus

Indeed, The La Scala Chorus has always been one of the opera house’s strengths. Directors were changing and yet the Chorus’s quality and admiration has always been unanimously shared by both audience and critics. In 1988, as part of a collaboration with Banco Lariano, Amici della Scala presented the book Il Coro del Teatro alla Scala (“The Chorus of La Scala Opera House”) in the La Scala foyer. In the cover picture is the Chorus director of the time, Giulio Bertola. In the other image, another director, Roberto Gabbiani, expresses his thanks.
