The “music capitals”

The series “Le capitali della musica” (“The music capitals”) expresses Amici della Scala’s desire and will to create an ideal link between the great places in which music has been at the centre of artistic, cultural, and civil life. The series, which started with an homage to Milan and was followed by a book dedicated to Parma, had, as its third part, the city of Naples. On the 16th of November 1987, in the foyer of the Theatre of San Carlo in Naples, the volume Le capitali della musica: Napoli (“The music capitals: Naples”) was presented. The book was published by Amici della Scala with the patronage of Banca Sannitica.
