Valentino Bompiani

A great personality of Milanese and Italian social, civil and cultural life, as well as a great figure of Italian publishing, Valentino Bompiani was an Honorary Member of Amici della Scala. As a publisher, he released volumes of authors who are close to the Association (including Eduardo Rescigno, Stefano Jacini and most of all, Quirino Principe with his book Mahler). In the signed letter, Bompiani commends Amici della Scala for their activities. In the photograph, he is pictured during one of the meetings in our offices. With him, we can see Leonardo Mondadori, Fernanda Pivano and – behind him – composer Roberto Hazon.
