The youth and Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory

The attention given to the youth has always been a priority for Amici della Scala; a priority that unfolded especially in the context of history and musicology research. It also developed by involving new talents and players. It is for these reasons that Amici della Scala sought contacts with individuals and organisations that would be able to engage with the youth. First amongst these is the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi of Milan, as we can read in this letter in which Anna Crespi informs Director Marcello Abbado that she has given an instrument to a child who did not have one.
